Our friends at The Gastronom created a very special cocktail at Dante’s Tuscan Wine Dinner event, which was inspired by Chef Nick Strawhecker’s time working at Michelin starred, Il Falconiere in Tuscany. Dante invited Jay and Leah, the cocktail creators behind The Gastronom blog, to work with Dante bartender Dustin Doran to create a unique cocktail inspired from Italy and the spring season. Working with Dustin, the head bartender, Jay and Leah came up with the Sale Asparo, a crisp sour cocktail that is a take off of the classic whiskey sour but with a little Italian flair.
This Sale Aspro custom cocktail was served as the specialty drink during the Tuscan Wine Dinner!
