The enigmatic, professional, Wine Taster, Sommelier, Society of Wine Educators member, and Winemaker will present 3 of his amazing Marchesi Biscardo wines, including his famous Valpolicella Ripasso, and a delightful small batch Prosecco Brut from Coviello Winery. The wines will be deliciously paired with each of the 4 wood-fired courses from Chef Nick Strawheckers’s hyper-seasonal, Verona inspired menu.

The Biscardo name has been synonymous with high-quality and traditional wines from Verona, Italy for four generations. Beginning with Nicola’s great-grandfather, Terenzio Biscardo, the Biscardo wine tradition was born of their Valpolicella vineyard in the prestigious and world-famous Veneto wine region which thrived until the mid-1980s. When his father and uncle sold their shares of the wine business to his uncle Luigi, the Biscardo name was retired until 2000. That’s the year when Nicola began making Biscardo wines again through a unique partnership with a winery in Verona that allowed him to use their facilities to produce his own wine again and bring back the respected Marchesi Biscardo name.
