Taste of Friuli: A Wine Class with Carlo Perusini
Join us on Saturday, March 15th at 1pm for an exclusive wine class with Carlo Perusini, a winemaker whose family name is synonymous with Italy’s rich viticultural history. The Perusini wine estate is among Italy’s most historic, recognized in 1986 by the legendary Luigi Veronelli as one of the country’s top fifty producers. Committed to sustainability, Perusini transitioned to organic farming in 2014, ensuring that every bottle reflects a deep respect for the land.
 Their portfolio of 15 exceptional wines includes Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla, Merlot, and Refosco, all shaped by the region’s signature ponca soil and the cooling influences of the Alps and Adriatic. For just $40, you will enjoy six exquisite pours, paired perfectly with meat and cheese, as Carlo takes us on a journey through the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, a breathtaking appellation in northeastern Italy known for its unique microclimate and world-class wines.

An Evening with Chiara Drocco: A Celebration of Piedmont & Nebraska
Join us on Tuesday, April 29th, for an extraordinary dining experience as we welcome Chiara Drocco of Cascina Adelaide for a four-course dinner featuring wines from her family’s esteemed Barolo estate. This unique evening marries the bounty of Nebraska’s spring ingredients with the deep-rooted traditions of Piedmontese cuisine, all paired with the exquisite wines of Cascina Adelaide—one of the Langhe region’s most innovative and historic wineries.
Founded in 2000, Cascina Adelaide is a tribute to Amabile Drocco (pictured below), who left a thriving mechanical career at age 60 to pursue his passion for viticulture. Today, his granddaughter Chiara (pictured above), represents the winery’s third generation while also holding the position of the youngest winery owner in all of Italy, brings fresh energy and respect for tradition while continuing the family’s dedication to crafting world-class wines. The estate’s 12 hectares of vineyards—including eight historic Barolo crus—produce wines that are a masterful balance of heritage and innovation.
You will enjoy a thoughtfully curated menu that seamlessly blends Nebraska’s finest spring produce with Piedmontese flavors, creating an unforgettable culinary experience. Each course will be paired with Cascina Adelaide’s elegant wines, from the rare Nascetta white to the bold and expressive Nebbiolo-based reds.
