Here Comes The Wood-Fired Oven
Omaha’s Blackstone District is not only an up and coming neighborhood, it’s quickly becoming one of Omaha’s hottest dining destinations. We’re about to make it even hotter as we’re bringing our Authentic, Italian VPN Certified Wood-Fired Oven to the neighborhood! In what many will recognize as the former home to Omaha’s iconic Brite Ideas Decorating, our new restaurant concept, Dante Pizzeria Napoletana, will be taking shape in the upcoming months. Slated to open in late 2017, the new restaurant will be an extension of our flagship Dante restaurant in West Omaha and will be Omaha’s First Fast-Fine style restaurant.
What is Fast-Fine?
Fast-Fine is an emerging food industry trend that is a hybrid of the assembly-line fast-casual format and the traditional fine-dining restaurant. The benefits include the ability to offer high quality food, combined with the speed of counter service in a sleek and modern atmosphere. Think of it as fine dining on your terms…without the fuss. “The new restaurant will share the same philosophies as the original Dante,” said Chef Nick Strawhecker. “We’ll have a hyperseasonal static and daily menu that always maintains our loyalty to all that is local and seasonal. We will use the same local suppliers and local ingredients in both locations which is better for our guests but also for our community.”
Dante Pizzeria Napoletana will be Omaha’s first Fast-Fine, wood-fired pizza focused concept in Omaha. You’ll find the same high quality, hyper-seasonal, local ingredients we’re known for and a menu highlighting Omaha’s favorite pizza, plus daily specials, greens, gelato and Italian wines.
